Sr. Aircraft Designer
About this course
This is an aircraft designing program for secondary students, where participants will learn a wide range of skills and concepts related to the field of aerospace engineering. The program introduces participants to different types of aircraft, the science behind how it flies and finally designs an aircraft using Autodesk Fusion 360 software.
By enrolling in this program participants will learn about the fundamental principles of aerodynamics, including lift, drag, thrust, and weight. They will learn how these forces interact to allow an aircraft to fly and how they can be manipulated to achieve different flight characteristics.
This course is concentrated on rotor aircraft and the key design features. At the end of the session, participants learn about the process of designing an aircraft, including creating 2D and 3D models using fusion 360 software.
