Drone Design Challenge This challenge is to design a drone for a practical application of your choice which can be 3D printed. Students ranging from age group of eight to eighteen can participate in this challenge There will be Two Age Group Categories: Age 8 to 12 - Primary Category and Age 13 to 18 - Secondary category. Register The phases Participants must design a Drone and submit the Design for evaluation. The winners will beselected by voting and expert panel. IDEATE If you would design a drone: What is the problem that your drone would solve? How would the drone look? What components will your Drone use? DESIGN Using CAD software convert your idea into a 3D model, the size of the model must be no larger than 10" x 10" x 10" (254 x 254 x 254 mm. WIN Shortlisted participants will present the Design to the panel of judges and the ultimate winners will be selected. Judging Each design will go through multiple evaluation process before they are selected as the winners Presentation Quality and clarity of presentation, Marketability and Feasibility of the design will be evaluated Innovation Judging panel will look at the degree of innovation, Functionality and Usefulness of the drone designed Design Each design will be evaluated based on the Aesthetic quality, Ergonomics, and 3D printability Partners This Program is organized in association with Autodesk and American University in Dubai.
