Learning Process:
• Day 1 – Introduction to Drones (Dec 17, 2025)
Kick off the workshop by understanding what makes drones fly! Learn about the different types of drones, key components like motors, propellers, sensors, and batteries, and how these parts work together. Discover real-world applications of drones in areas like delivery, agriculture, and exploration.
• Day 2 – Tool Familiarization (Dec 19, 2025)
Get hands-on with Tinkercad (for Years 5–8) or Fusion 360 (for Years 9–13) and explore essential 3D modelling tools. Learn to navigate the software, create basic shapes, and understand how to bring your drone ideas into a digital format. By the end of the session, you’ll be ready to start designing your own drone.
• Day 3 – Hands-On Drone Design (Dec 22, 2025)
Start building your drone frame with guidance from our expert trainers. Apply your learning from previous sessions to create a functional and creative drone design. Learn best practices for stability, balance, and component placement while experimenting with your own innovative ideas.
• Day 4 – Final Modelling (Dec 24, 2025)
Refine your drone design and ensure it’s ready for 3D printing. Learn how to troubleshoot common modelling issues, optimize your design for functionality, and prepare all files for final submission. This session will also include a review and feedback from trainers to help you present your project confidently.
