This will start with an overview of the electronic components used in Drones. It will also deep dive into Electromechanical Devices like the Drone Motors, ESC and power source used in drones. It will further take you to explore the Flight controllers (FC) and the different types of FC available in the market. Then will introduce you to add-ons like sensors, Gyroscope, GPS, sensors, camera, transmission system, autonomous processing units, and LIDAR.
At the end of the session, students will be able to choose all the required components to build a Drone with confidence and build the drone.

Drone Soccer Workshop

This engaging workshop will introduce students to the fundamentals of drone operation, teamwork, and competitive flying — all while building essential STEM skills.
What is included:
- Introduction to Drones: Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of drone technology, the principles of aeronautics, and the science behind how drones fly
- Obstacles Training: Participants will practice flying through controlled obstacle courses to develop precision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Drone Arena Training: Teams will engage in tactical Drone Soccer practice, learning arena rules, teamwork, and competitive flying strategies.
- School-Level Competition: Students will put their learning into action during an exciting Drone Soccer competition, demonstrating skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.
At the end of the school-level competition, a team list will be shared with the teacher, and the selected students will represent the school in the Regional Competition scheduled for February 2026.

UAE Selection Trials

The selection trials is an action-packed training and selection camp to choose the top drone flyers for the UAE National Team heading to the 2025 FAI World Drone Soccer Championships in Shanghai, China, from 15th to 18th November 2025. Following the camp, 4 elite teams—a total of 24 players—will be selected to proudly represent the UAE on the global stage.
What is included in the camp
- Drone Soccer Rules & Gameplay – Understand official WDSC rules, strategies, and match formats.
- Flight Skills Training – Hands-on practice to improve precision, control, and agility.
- Drone Assembly & Repair – Learn how to build, maintain, and troubleshoot drone soccer units.
- Team Coordination – Train in team dynamics, roles, and real-time communication during matches.
- Game Tactics & Strategy – Analyze gameplay, develop tactics, and plan winning strategies.
- Competitive Match Experience – Participate in practice matches and simulations under tournament conditions.
- National Team Selection – Perform under evaluation to qualify for the UAE National Drone Soccer Team.
